Yellow Sally Fly

The Yellow Sally represents a small Stone Fly such as we see in the higher elevations and smaller streams in late June and July. The bleached elk hair and yellow dubbing with red butt draws the attention of the fish as it floats along stream banks. It also represents a small grasshopper in late August and September. Sold here  in groups of six, we will send you three each of size 12 and 14.

The Yellow Sally is made of natural materials that float high in the water and has a coloring that attracts the fish and looks like a real insect.  During grasshoopper hatches these flies can attract amazing activity and make a day on the stream excitingly productive.
