Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Powderhorn Valley, Sleeping Dog Ranch dates back to the late 1800’s when settlers, not drawn by gold fever, but seeking a better “gold” began ranching the area. Through the ranch meadows meanders the Cebolla Creek which had, through years of use, been redirected and manipulated for ranching purposes. Trout Headquarter Inc. has restored the stream, rehabilitated the meadows, and preserved the habitat and now offers this magnificent setting for the fishing pleasure of the true and experienced fisherman.
