The Sage X fly rod is built using Konnetic Technology for a wicked combination of lightweight and strength. The X’s aggressive tapering from butt-to-tip flawlessly transmits casting energy so that you never feel the need to push this rod to exceed previous casting limits. Even in the wind, you can accurately drop your fly way over there from way over here. A short cast can be made with equal skill. Much previous casting experience recommended. The Sage X is a four piece, 9 foot rod for a 5 wt. line, or 8 12 ft for a 5 wt. line or a 7 1/2 ft. rod for a 3 wt. line. Dan will help you match the rod with a balanced reel and set it up with appropriate line so you can head to the stream ready to fish.
