Hi, I’m Macy Loper. I grew up in East Texas, where fishing isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life. Some of my earliest memories are spent on the water with a rod in my hand, fishing creeks, ponds, and lakes any chance I got. That passion for fishing started young and has only grown stronger over the years.
Three years ago, I traded the East Texas heat for the mountains and moved to Lake City, Colorado. While the scenery may have changed, the love for fishing stayed the same. Now I spend my days exploring the beautiful mountain lakes and rivers here and helping others experience just how special fishing in the Colorado high country can be.
As a guide, my goal is simple: help you catch fish, learn a few new skills, and enjoy a great day on the water. Whether it’s your first time holding a rod or you’ve been fishing your whole life, I want every trip to be fun, memorable, and full of great stories.
