Kids Fishing Camp Coming Soon
We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Kids Fishing Camp, a two-day adventure designed to introduce young anglers to the art of fly fishing!
On Day One, we’ll gather in the shop yard for a fun and interactive two-hour class. Kids will learn the fundamentals of fly fishing, including what flies represent, how to tie essential knots, and the basics of casting. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to get hands-on experience in a safe and supportive environment.
Day Two takes us to the beautiful banks of Lake San Cristobal, where the kids will put their new skills to the test! With provided gear – including rods, leaders, flies, nets and everything they need to be successful – kids will learn how to set up their equipment and, hopefully, catch their very first fish on a fly rod!
While there’s no age restriction for this class, a parent or guardian must be present at all times. We’ll also have light refreshments and opportunities for parents to be involved in the entire process.
